Meltho OpenType™ Syriac Fonts
The Syriac Computing Center (SyrCOM) of Beth Mardutho is proud to present the Syriac-speaking and academic communities the results of Project Meltho: Syriac Fonts for Windows XP™ and Office XP™. A sample image is available.
The fonts are available for download for free but we encourage end-users and interested parties to donate to Beth Mardutho to continue this effort
We would like to thank the Meltho Project team; its members have been volunteering on Project Meltho for a number of years now, putting many hours of their limited free time. SyrCOM also hired a fine third party specialist to ensure that we produce top quality fonts, the costs of which were covered by many financial supporters who also deserve our thanks and appreciation.
If you are developing a font for free distribution, we invite you to make use of our work. The Meltho Font Developers site provides template fonts and guidelines on creating Syriac Unicode-compliant OpenType fonts.
