eBethArké (a project of Beth Mardutho: The Syriac Institute) is an online library of manuscripts, printed books, articles, pictures, maps, music and video in the fields of Syriac studies, Eastern Christianity, and related disciplines. The mission of the project is to make content accessible anywhere, anytime.

The Syriac term Beth Arké literally means 'place of archives' and means 'library'.

eBethArké was envisaged by George A. Kiraz in November 2000 while scanning a book for his personal use. Search for partner libraries and planning took place in 2001 and 2002. Digitization took place in 2003 and 2004. eBethArké went live online in 2005. Our work continues in order to bring you more content.
